Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute reopens locations, resuming elective surgeries

Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute reopened most of its 11 locations as of April 27, coinciding with Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s executive order allowing the resumption of elective surgeries.

The Chesterton, Ind.-based practice is beginning to reschedule most orthopedic appointments and is keeping patient safety top of mind.

Social distancing will be mandatory, all patients and staff must wear masks and everyone who enters the facility will be screened.

LBJI has partnered with telemedicine platform OrthoLive to provide care for patients who cannot visit the office.
