Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic Joins Bundled Payment Agreement With BCBS of Tennessee

Knoxville (Tenn.) Orthopaedic Clinic has joined Vanderbilt Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Nashville and Campbell Clinic in Memphis for a bundled payment agreement with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, according to a Knox News report.

The bundled payment system will include total hip and knee replacement patients selected for participation. The system will launch in October and pay the providers for the total episode of care delivered during the first 90 days post-surgery.
