Kansas hospital makes new partnership to bring spine surgeons to area: 3 notes

Manhattan (Kan.) Surgical Hospital partnered with Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health to improve healthcare services in Manhattan, according to The Topeka Capital-Journal.

Three notes:

1. Currently, Manhattan Surgical Hospital struggles recruiting spine surgeons. The partnership with Stormont will allow the hospital to offer spine services.

2. Stormont has two spine surgeons on staff who will provide services to the Manhattan community.

3. Through the partnership, Stormont will provide support for its various organizations at Manhattan Surgical Hospital. Stormont already has 18 physicians offering services at the Manhattan hospital.
