Advanced Disc Replacement Spinal Restoration Center (Beverly Hills, Calif.). Advanced Disc Replacement Spinal Restoration Center was founded by Todd Lanman, MD. The practice is reportedly the first in California to use the Emsculpt electromagnetic therapy system for muscle rehabilitation.

Allegiant Spine Institute (Las Vegas). Allegiant Spine Institute has six physicians. The center has performed more than 25,000 minimally invasive procedures, more than 10,000 major spine procedures and more than 60,000 interventional spine procedures.

Ann Arbor (Mich.) Spine Care. Ann Arbor Spine Care was launched as a spine center of excellence in 2009 and was founded by Dr. Jason Brodkey. The center has four spine surgeons.

Arizona Neurosurgery & Spine Specialists (Phoenix). Arizona Neurosurgery & Spine Specialists is affiliated with University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix. It has five surgeons on staff.

Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York (White Plains). Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York was founded in 1958. The practice added seven physicians and its first neurologist in March.

Boston Spine Care Group. Boston Spine Care Group is operated by Robert Banco, MD. He has more than 29 years of experience.

Buffalo Spine Surgery (Lockport, N.Y.). Buffalo Spine Surgery is led by Andrew Cappuccino, MD. The practice serves members of the Buffalo Bills NFL team and Buffalo Sabres NHL team.

CarePoint Neurosurgery and Spine (Denver). CarePoint Neurosurgery and Spine has nine locations and focuses on motion preservation surgery. The practice has advanced robotic technology, including the Xvision augmented reality system and prodisc artificial disc. 

Christiana Spine Center (Newark, Del.). Christiana Spine Center has seven physicians and was founded in 2000. Along with its main clinic, it has an ASC and an imaging center.

Denver Spine Surgeons. Denver Spine Surgeons is operated by three spine surgeons who have a combined 60 years of experience. They treat patients in Colorado as well as adjacent states from New Mexico to Kansas.

Desert Institute for Spine Care (Phoenix). Desert Institute for Spine Care has five locations and five surgeons. The center is known for endoscopic spine surgery, which is a minimally invasive procedure.

Edmonds (Wash.) Orthopedic Center. Edmonds Orthopedic Center has nine surgeons. Specialties include hip, knee, shoulder, hand and wrist, foot and ankle and elbow treatments.

Emory Spine Center (Atlanta). Emory Spine Center is part of Emory Healthcare, and treats simple and complex conditions. The center also provides nonsurgical treatment options.

Envision Spine Surgery (New York City). Envision Spine Surgery is operated by Jian Shen, MD. Dr. Shen is an expert in endoscopic spine surgery and is a founding member of the International Society of Endoscopic Spine Surgery.

Fox Valley Orthopedics (Geneva, Ill.). Fox Valley Orthopedics has more than 15 orthopedic specialists and nearly 30 total physicians and physician assistants. It has seven locations in Illinois.

Front Range Center for Brain & Spine Surgery (Fort Collins, Colo.). Front Range Center for Brain & Spine Surgery has three surgeons who treat patients in Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and Kansas. Surgeries performed include cervical spine fusions, lumbar decompression and posterior cervical laminectomy.

HFM Spine Clinic (Manitowoc, Wis.). HFM Spine Clinic is part of Holy Family Memorial Spine Clinic, and it opened in October 2020. The clinic has three physicians and two advanced care practitioners and offers spine and pain management care.

IGEA Brain, Spine & Orthopedics (Union, N.J.). IGEA Brain, Spine & Orthopedics has nine locations across New York and New Jersey. It has 10 physicians on staff.

Indiana Spine Group (Carmel). Indiana Spine Group has more than 15 spine surgeons and minimally invasive spine specialists. It was founded by Rick Sasso, MD, and Kevin Macadaeg, MD, in 2002.

Marina Spine Center (Marina Del Rey, Calif.). Marina Spine Center is part of Marina Del Rey Hospital. Five spine surgeons practice from the center. 

Metropolitan Neurosurgery (Coon Rapids, Minn.). Metropolitan Neurosurgery was founded in 1980 and has six community clinics in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Six neurosurgeons are on staff, and the practice is one of the few independent neurosurgery groups in the region.

Microspine (Scottsdale, Ariz.). Microspine was founded and operated by Issada Thongtrangan, MD. He treats a variety of spine conditions including herniated discs, back pain and lumbar degenerative disc disease.

Nebraska Spine Hospital (Omaha). Nebraska Spine Hospital has eight surgeons. The hospital is physician-led and is the only Spine Center of Excellence in its region.

Neurological Surgery and Spine Surgery (Westchester, Ill.). Neurological Surgery and Spine Surgery has five surgeons who have 50 years of combined experience. Conditions treated include spinal fusion, minimally invasive spine surgery and discectomy. 

NeuroSpine Plus (Paramus, N.J.). NeuroSpine Plus was founded and is led by Edward Scheid, MD. He's performed more than 5,000 successful spine surgeries.

Neurosurgery of St. Louis. Neurosurgery of St. Louis comprises three physicians, and the group moved from the hospital setting in August. The group opened three clinics across Illinois and Missouri.

OrthoConnecticut (Danbury). OrthoConnecticut has nine locations and sees more than 36,000 patients each year. The practice added a third spine surgeon in August.

OrthoGeorgia Spine Center (Macon). OrthoGeorgia has four spine specialists. The center uses Medtronic's Mazor X robotic guidance system.

Orthopaedic Institute of North Mississippi (Tupelo). The Orthopaedic Institute of North Mississippi has six physicians. It partnered with management services organization U.S. Orthopaedic Partners in July.

Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute (Hagerstown, Md.). Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute has three neurosurgeons, four pain management specialists and three neurologists. Conditions treated include spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease and osteoporosis. 

Performance Spine & Sports Physicians (Pottstown, Pa.). Performance Spine & Sports Physicians has two locations and five physicians. Most of the practice's procedures are minimally invasive and use local anesthesia.

Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery (Sandy Springs, Ga.). Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery was founded more than 40 years ago and has five physicians. It's reportedly the first practice in Georgia to offer the Intracept procedure for lower back pain.

Sierra Spine Institute (Roseville, Calif.). Sierra Spine Institute has three surgeons on staff. Along with spine surgery, the center provides platelet rich plasma injections.

Sonoran Spine (Glendale, Ariz.). Sonoran Spine has nine locations across Arizona. Its team includes seven spine physicians and two pain management specialists.

Southwest Florida Neurosurgical & Rehab Associates (Cape Coral, Fla.). Southwest Florida Neurosurgical & Rehab Associates has five neurosurgeons. Services offered include spinal stenosis treatment, sacroiliac joint fusion and discectomy.

Spine and Orthopedic Center of New Mexico (Roswell). Spine and Orthopedic Center of New Mexico has one surgeon, two nurse practitioners and a physician assistant. It has an urgent care center and an open MRI machine.

SpineCare Long Island (N.Y.). SpineCare Long Island was founded in 2017 by three spine surgeons and has nine physicians total. It opened its third practice in Holbrook, N.Y., in August 2020.

Spine Colorado (Durango). Spine Colorado was founded in 2000, and in 2006 it launched a spine center of excellence with Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango. Its team has two spine surgeons, two physiatrists and two physician assistants. 

SpineNevada (Reno). SpineNevada has seven physicians and emphasizes nonsurgical approaches to treatment. The practice struck a deal with Phoenix-based Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company in April to develop a musculoskeletal platform in the state.

Spine Pain Be Gone (San Antonio). Spine Pain Be Gone is operated by Guy Fogel, MD. He offers services for conditions including sciatica and herniated discs.

Summit Spine & Joint Centers (Atlanta). Summit Spine & Joint Centers has 21 providers and 17 locations. In June, it landed private equity investment from MSouth Equity Partners.

The Spine Pro (Marina Del Rey, Calif.). The Spine Pro is operated by Hooman Melamed, MD. The center was founded in 2005.

Texas Back Institute (Plano). The Texas Back Institute was founded in 1977 and is one of the largest free-standing multidisciplinary academic spine centers in the world. About 88 percent of patients are treated without surgical intervention.

Texas Spine and Scoliosis (Austin). Texas Spine and Scoliosis was founded in 2011 by scoliosis specialist Dr. Matthew Geck and spine surgeon Dr. John Stokes and has expanded to include three fellowship-trained spine surgeons, four physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists and internal spine therapy under one roof.

Tri-State Orthopaedics (Evansville, Ind.). Tri-State Orthopedics was founded by two physicians in 1949. It now has 30 physicians and five offices.

Verma Spine (Los Alamitos, Calif.). Verma Spine is operated by Kushagra Verma, MD. He treats adult and pediatric patients across three locations.

Virginia Spine Institute (Reston). Virginia Spine Institute has seven physicians. Spine surgeon Thomas Schuler, MD, founded the practice in 1992.

Watauga Orthopaedics (Johnson City, Tenn.). Watauga Orthopaedics was founded in 1950 by Howell Sherrod, MD, and has three locations. In the last decade, the practice has expanded its services to include total joint replacements, sports medicine, arthroscopy and more.

West Suburban Neurosurgical Associates (Westmont, Ill.). West Suburban Neurosurgical Associates was founded in 1968. It's operated by Robert Kazan, MD.

Wisconsin Brain & Spine Center (Altoona). Wisconsin Brain & Spine Center has two surgeons, Phillip Porter, MD, and Kamal Thapar, MD, PhD. The practice is part of OakLeaf Medical Network.
