Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health Systems has added five physicians who will practice at its Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute, which opens Sept. 1, according to local radio station WKKJ.
The physicians are:
- Blake Walker, MD, neurosurgeon
- Gustavo Barrazueta, MD, orthopedic surgeon
- Steven Barrientos, DO, sports medicine
- Clinton Hartz, MD, sports medicine
- Mara Kennedy, DPM, podiatrist
The Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute, a $70 million project, houses the health system's orthopedics program and the Adena Spine Center.
The 111,000-square-foot facility includes 80 clinical exam rooms, six operating rooms, 20 inpatient recovery beds and 22 preoperative and postoperative recovery bays.
