Three things to know:

2. Morton Plant is a 599-bed hospital that sees more than 50,000 patients annually. In 2017, it opened a $200 million, four-story tower and surgical building featuring all private rooms, a new surgical center, women’s services and an orthopedic center.

3. The hospital owns several vacant lots on the same block as the medical office building.
