Oregon orthopedic group joins VA's urgent care network

Practice Management

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has added The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research in Bend, Ore., to its network of urgent care clinics, local TV news outlet KTVZ reported Nov. 9.

Three things to know:

1. The partnership seeks to provide fast and efficient orthopedic, neurosurgical and physiatrist care to veterans.

2. Veterans can access The Center's NOWcare walk-in service without preauthorization for nonemergency care for new injuries that have not already been addressed by a provider.

3. Founded in 1958, The Center has grown to include 24 physicians and 10 locations across Central Oregon.
