Florida spine, orthopedic practice resumes elective surgery

Vero Beach, Fla.-based Vero Orthopaedics & Neurology recently restarted elective surgeries.

Three things to know:

1.The practice has implemented added safety measures for preoperative and postoperative care to keep ORs sterile and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

2. Vero Orthopaedics & Neurology performs surgeries at the Advanced Center for Surgery in Gifford, Fla., Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Fla., and Sebastian River Medical Center in Roseland, Fla., among other facilities.

3. Founded in 1976, the practice has 12 physicians and offices in Vero Beach and Sebastian, Fla., according to its website.
