Fort Worth (Texas) Brain and Spine Institute recently partnered with eMDs, which provides EHR, practice management and revenue cycle management solutions for medical practices.

The group has implemented a new practice management solution that has improved collections and streamlined the billing process for its neurosurgery business.

The partnership will provide an "increase in cash flow" and added support with "denials and appeals with the insurance carriers," said Chinika Polk, CEO of FWBSI.

Founded in 2003, FWBSI has grown to include seven physicians and five clinical locations, according to its website.
