Murray, Utah-based The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital will be used as a relief-valve facility to treat patients who do not have COVID-19, the Daily Herald reports.

Three things to know:

1. Hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley area are being directed to send patients to TOSH for non-coronavirus care.

2.The hospital is part of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit system of 24 hospitals with more than 2,400 providers.

3. Several of Intermountain's hospitals are temporarily converting surgical units, equipping them with ventilators and other necessary supplies to treat COVID-19 patients.
