Banner Health signed a deal Feb. 14 to acquire The Orthopedic Clinic Association, a four-location practice based in Phoenix.

TOCA's 18 orthopedic physicians and nine physician assistants will join Phoenix-based Banner Health this spring.

Once the deal is completed, the practice will be renamed TOCA at Banner Health and its providers will have privileges at Banner hospitals and ASCs throughout Phoenix.

The nonprofit health system operates 28 acute-care hospitals and has more than 50,000 employees in six states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada and Wyoming.

A Banner Health representative told Becker's that financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
