Firm pays $44.5M for New York medical office building housing neurosurgery, orthopedic practice

Chicago real estate investment firm MBRE Healthcare acquired a 116,000-square-foot medical office building in Orchard Park, N.Y., for $44.5 million Feb. 12, The Buffalo News reports.

What you should know:

1. The medical office building houses a number of entities, including UB Neurosurgery, UB Orthopaedics, Southtowns Surgery Center and Great Lakes Medical Imaging.

2. The building sits on 17.87 acres of land and was constructed in 2013.

3. MBRE Healthcare is a subsidiary of MB Real Estate.
