Minneapolis-based Twin Cities Orthopedics secured naming rights to Vadnais Heights Sports Center on Feb. 4, local news outlet KSTP.com reports.

Three insights:

1. Under a 15-year contract with Ramsey County, Minn., TCO will invest $1.95 million in the sports center. TCO has the option to extend the contract for five years beyond that time frame.

2. Vadnais Heights Sports Center will be renamed TCO Sports Garden as part of the deal. The agreement also gives TCO permission to use the sports center's 5,500 square feet of office space.

3. TCO's gradual investment will go toward Ramsey County's multimillion-dollar plan to repair the facility for an estimated $8.5 million, according to TwinCities.com.
