Johnston, R.I.-based Pappas Physical Therapy partnered with OPT Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, a private physical therapy practice with six outpatient locations throughout the state.
Four details:
1. The partnership brings Pappas' footprint to 15 clinics.
2. OPT's clinical team will gain access to physical therapy education programs through Pappas partner Louisville, Ky.-based Confluent Health, as well as the Evidence In Motion family of companies based in San Antonio.
3. Led by CEO Mike Pappas, Pappas Physical Therapy was established in 2007. Its providers specialize in orthopedic and neurological problems, postoperative conditions, sprains and strains, traumatic injuries and degenerative joint diseases.
4. OPT provides physical therapy and sports services to Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., as well as local high schools.
