Kentucky group to expand orthopedic services at new facility, recruit another orthopedic surgeon

Hopkinsville, Ky.-based Jennie Stuart Health will relocate the three orthopedic surgeons from its hospital campus to a new planned facility and hire another once completed in October 2020, reports the Kentucky New Era.

Three things to know:

1. JSH recently expanded access to specialty services through a telehealth imitative with the Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network.

2. The new Blue Creek Medical Facility in Hopkinsville, Ky., will provide orthopedic surgery and plastic surgery, among other specialty services.

3. JSH broke ground on the facility last month.
