Kentucky practice to open orthopedic clinic — 3 insights

What you should know:
1. The clinic will be led by Russell Peyton, an advanced practice registered nurse.
2. The clinic will offer fracture care, splinting, casting, joint injections, pain treatments and sports medicine, among others.
3. A hospital representative said the public's response to the clinic has been positive to date, and that "they're really excited about it." It's unclear if more providers will staff the clinic in the future.
