Beaumont Health opens urgent care facility, plans 30 centers by end of 2020

Southfield, Mich.-based Beaumont Health opened its second urgent care center in Farmington Hills, Mich., reports Hometown Life.

Four things to know:

1. The new facility features a lab, X-ray and can develop fiberglass splints for orthopedic injuries, among other specialties.

2. Beaumont opened its first urgent care center in the city in June.

3. The health system aims to open around 30 urgent care centers in southeast Michigan by the end of 2020.

4. Beaumont partnered with Atlanta-based WellStreet Urgent Care to build and manage the planned facilities.
