Three things to know:

1. Mercy Health will open Mercy Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in partnership with Westlake, Ohio-based Orthopaedic Associates in December.

2. The partnership will provide OA physicians with access to the Mercy Health's EHR system and offer access to the health system's network of providers.

3. Orthopaedic Associates physicians will see patients at Mercy Health — Lorain Hospital beginning Dec. 9, with an office opening at the Oberlin Medical Office Building in the fall.
