Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore received Healthgrade's America's 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery Award for the second year in a row, reports newswise.

Three things to know:

1. The award places MMC in the top 2 percent of over 4,500 hospitals evaluated across the country.

2. Healthgrades judges the clinical performance of hospitals across a broad spectrum of care.

3. MMC also received Healthgrade's orthopedic surgery excellence award for four consecutive years and the spine surgery excellence award for three years in a row.
