NY hospital earns Center of Excellence in Orthopedic Surgery

Utica, N.Y.-based St. Elizabeth Campus of Mohawk Valley Health System earned the Center of Excellence in Orthopedic Surgery accreditation by Surgical Review Corporation, reports The Oneida Daily Dispatch.

Three things to know:

1. The accreditation recognizes the St. Elizabeth Campus for providing high quality care to its patients.

2. It means that the hospital, as well as orthopedic surgeons John Sullivan, MD, and Andrew Wickline, MD, have met nationally-recognized standards in orthopedic care.

3. SRC conduct an in-depth assessment and on-site inspection of healthcare facilities seeking to achieve the Center of Excellence accreditation.
