Residents of the Mother Lode region of California now have access to a heightened level of care as Northern California Spine Institute opened its doors full-time in Sonora, reports local news outlet My Mother Lode.
NCSI surgeons previously practiced part-time in Sonora but extended its opening hours to help members of the rural community receive the care they need without having to travel.
Two orthopedic surgeons — Joseph Grant, MD, and Kevin Booth, MD — will be on hand to perform spine surgeries at the hospital, which is now open Monday through Friday and located in the Adventist Health Sonora Professional Building in Sonora.
Drs. Grant and Booth will be continuing their partnership with Garth T. Greenwell, DO, who is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist that provides pain management and therapies in the community.
