UR Medicine Orthopedics, Thompson Health open office in New York — 3 insights

Rochester, N.Y.-based UR Medicine Orthopaedics and Canandaigua, N.Y.-based Thompson Health opened a new office in Victor, N.Y., the Daily Messenger reports.

What you should know:

1. The office is 21,000 square feet.

2. Thompson Health clinicians will provide orthopedic, physical therapy and rehabilitation care.

3. Surgeons will perform joint replacements, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, sports medicine, oncology, pediatric orthopedics, and trauma-related procedures.

"The opening of the new facility is a wonderful opportunity for UR Medicine to expand its services and provide great convenience to patients in the Finger Lakes region. Pairing our services with orthopedic specialty care means that patients now have one convenient place for outpatient visits," Kurt Koczent, BSN, RN, Thompson Health executive vice president and COO, said.
