CMS patient data shows 91 percent of patients surveyed rank Omaha-based OrthoNebraska Hospital the highest for patient satisfaction, reports Omaha World Herald.
OrthoNebraska also scored well with low infection rates and low costs in the survey. The hospital's 2018 deep hip and knee infection rate of 0.37 percent.
The 24-bed specialty hospital focuses on the spine, neck, knees, hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet, ankles and hips. It has over 30 physicians that performed almost 9,500 surgeries in 2018.
CEO Levi Scheppers pointed to the hospital's culture and subspecialty expertise as the key factors driving its success.
