Orthopaedic Care Partners in Gainesville, Fla., made three strategic practice affiliations.
OCP, the holding company for The Orthopaedic Institute, affiliated with Citrus Orthopaedic & Joint Institute, Ocala (Fla.) Orthopedic Care and James B. Duke, M.D. The partnerships will add resources to each practice for future growth.
As a result of the affiliation, the three orthopedic groups will have access to physician recruiting and managed care contracting support as well as capital for expansion. While OCP will help the groups consolidate the market, each practice maintains autonomy over day-to-day operations.
OCP now has 44 physicians in its platform.
