New York approves Wyoming County Community Hospital's $1.1M orthopedic expansion

The New York Department of Health approved Warsaw, N.Y.-based Wyoming County Community Hospital's $1.1 million orthopedic expansion, Buffalo Business First reports.

What you should know:

1. The hospital plans to turn its former emergency department into an outpatient orthopedic clinic as part of a larger $10 million expansion.

2. The expansion will add operating rooms and an ambulatory surgery space.

3. Wyoming County Community Hospital is the county's only hospital.
