Children's Hospital Kennedy Outpatient Center opens in Chattanooga, Tenn., providing pediatric specialty clinics such as cardiology, neurology, genetics, gastroenterology and orthopedics.

The 90,000-square-foot hospital is located within Children's Hospital at Erlanger and incorporates family-friendly features to distract children during their visits, including books, a model steam train and a secret garden.

The project broke ground in June 2017 and was completed in November 2018 at a total construction cost of $29.6 million.
