Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance adopts care-coordination platform — 3 insights

Nashville-based Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is using MyHealthDirect's care-coordination platform to improve patient care.

What you should know:

1. The platform allows patients to schedule their own appointments on TOA's website.

2. The platform was integrated into TOA's existing practice-management system.

3. Clinicians' schedules are automatically updated by the software.

"For us, the benefits of the scheduling solution are two-fold. Regardless of the care need, call center agents can more quickly connect patients with our specialists, and our patients have a better experience by avoiding the hassles that typically come with booking an appointment," said TOA CEO Rob Simmnons.
