18 orthopedic groups adding new locations

Several orthopedic groups have expanded in the past three months.

Here are the most recent examples:

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute opened the Crystal Lake (Ill.) Physician and Rehab Clinic in January, and a physical therapy clinic in Palatine, Ill., in April.

Franklin Lakes, N.J.-based Kayal Orthoapedic Center added a new imaging center in Paramus, N.J., and plans to open another location in Montvale, N.J., in December.

Orlando (Fla.) Hand Surgery Associates partnered with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth to open The Hand to Shoulder Center, an ASC.

Boardman-based Ohio Sports & Spine Institute opened a new location in Howland Township, Ohio.

Tumwater-based Washington Orthopaedic Center is moving to a new, larger location to accommodate an increased patient demand.

Rothman Orthopaedics opened a new, larger office in Doylestown, Pa. The practice also opened a new facility in Monmouth Junction, N.J.

Morris, Ill.-based Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine opened its third office, with the new location in Ottawa, Ill.

Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colo., expanded its ASC and recovery center to include eight operating rooms, offices and recovery rooms on the second floor.

UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center and Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute in Steamboat Springs, Colo., partnered to open an orthopedic ASC.

Vail, Colo.-based The Steadman Clinic opened a clinic in Frisco, Colo.

Syosset, N.Y.-based Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine opened a $3 million orthopedic urgent care facility.

OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports in Birmingham began construction on a second location in Hoover, Ala., expected to open in 2020.

Rapid City, S.D.-based Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center opened a new clinic in Gillette, Wyo.

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago opened its first freestanding physical therapy clinic in Orland Park, Ill.

Southern Bone and Joint Specialists in Enterprise, Ala., opened a satellite location in Andalusia, Ala.

Canton, Ohio-based Omni Orthopaedics broke ground on a new surgery center in Jackson Township, Ohio.

New York City-based Datta Endoscopic Back Surgery and Pain Center launched three new locations: New York City, Spring Valley, N.Y., and Saddle Brook, N.J.

The CORE Institute opened a new 20,000-square-foot orthopedic clinic in West Phoenix. The practice now has 19 facilities.
