Carrum Health partnered with Chicago-based Rush Health to provide enhanced benefits to self-insured Midwestern employees.

What you should know:

1. Rush will offer patients orthopedic and spine surgeries through Carrum's platform.

2. Self-insured patients will have access to payment arrangements to bring down the cost of procedures.

3. Rush Health CEO Brent Estes said, "Carrum Health already has significant membership in the Midwest, and this partnership will allow us to improve patient choice and convenience in the region."
