Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital is building a $250 million, seven-story spine and orthopedic tower across from its main hospital, local news affiliate WAFF reports.
What you should know:
1. The tower will be 375,000 square feet.
2. The tower will have 72 private patient rooms and 24 operating rooms.
3. Huntsville Hospital will perform inpatient and outpatient procedures, including spine surgery, joint replacement, tendon and ligament repair, sports medicine, arthroscopy and fracture repair, among others.
4. The tower will also have physical rehabilitation space and a restaurant.
