Excela Health opening ambulatory orthopedic, specialty care clinic — 4 insights

Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health opened an ambulatory care clinic in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

What you should know:

1. Excela Health condensed two existing clinics into this three-story location.

2. The first floor will have a family medicine practice, the second floor, a specialty center with advanced lung care, surgical, orthopedics and sports medicine specialists and the third floor, nuclear medicine, cardiology and cardiac testing practices.

3. Fifteen physicians will see patients at the new clinic.

4. Excela eventually plans to move an existing gastroenterology clinic into the space.
