VA seeks to hire chief of orthopedic surgery in Georgia

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is hiring a chief of orthopedic surgery in Augusta, Ga., according to LemonWire.

Requirements for the position include:

• Medical degree or doctor of osteopathic medicine degree
• License to practice medicine in the U.S.
• Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the VA in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification

To qualify for the position, applicants must meet all requirements by the posting's closing date of Dec. 31.
