Here are nine hospitals, health systems and private practices expanding spine and neurosurgery programs.

Birmingham, Ala.-based Swaid Clinic is expanding its spine and orthopedic services with the construction of a new $21 million medical facility in Vestavia Hills, Ala.

Baptist Health Medical Center — Little Rock (Ark.) installed the Mazor X Robotic Guidance Platform for spine surgery.

Donna Casper gifted Shriners Hospital for Children — Portland (Ore.) $1 million on behalf of her late husband Jim Casper.
