Metric Subaru in Huntington, N.Y., will donate up to $250 to Huntington Hospital's neurosurgery program for every vehicle it sells or leases between Nov. 15 and Jan. 3, 2019, libn.com reports.

Here are three things to know:

1. The dealership's support is part of Subaru's "Share the Love" program, which supports local communities by donating to various causes.

2. Metric Subaru and Huntington Hospital partnered in 2016 when the dealership and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society began donating blankets and art kits to the Huntington Hospital Don Monti Cancer Center.

3. Huntington Hospital's neurosurgery division is part of New York City-based Northwell Health Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery, one of the largest providers of neurological and neurosurgical care in the area.
