Lewes, Del.-based Summit Orthopaedic was recognized as a 2018 HomeCare Elite agency by health IT company Ability Network and DecisionHealth, according to the Cape Gazette.
Here are three things to know:
1. HomeCare Elite designation honors the top 25 percent of U.S. home care agencies in the following categories: quality of care, best practice implementation, quality improvement and consistency, patient experience and financial health.
2. Summit Orthopeadic has received the award for five consecutive years.
3. The home care agency offers medical services such as blood draws, deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis and infusion and IV therapy. Its physical therapy services include balance and proprioception training, neuromuscular control and swelling and effusion reduction.
