Healthcare ranks as voters' most important issue for the 2018 midterm elections, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation Health Tracking Poll.
KFF polled 1,201 adults between Sept. 19 and Oct. 2.
Here are three things to know:
1. Seven in ten voters said healthcare is "very important" in making their Congressional voting decision this year.
2. When asked to choose one issue as the "most important" in guiding their voting decisions, the greatest proportion of respondents — 30 percent — chose healthcare. By comparison, 21 percent of respondents chose the economy and jobs, followed by gun policy and immigration.
3. Almost half — 40 percent — of Democratic voters chose healthcare as the most important issue, compared to 31 percent of Independent voters and 17 percent of Republican voters.
