Milford (Conn.) Hospital entered into a partnership with Fairfield, Conn.-based Orthopaedic Specialty Group to expands the hospital's orthopedic care and joint replacement surgery services.
Here are three details:
1. Twelve Orthopaedic Specialty Group physicians joined Milford Hospital's medical staff to provide 24/7 emergency orthopedic care.
2. The Orthopaedic Specialty Group physicians now work with Milford's existing team of orthopedic surgeons, Amit Lahav, MD, Tedd Weisman, MD, and Aaron Schachter, MD.
3. The Connecticut Joint Center at Milford Hospital opened in 2005 and offers orthopedic care for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery.
