United Hospital Center Orthopedics in Bridgeport, W.Va., opened a "Friday Night Lights" clinic as fall sports season kicks into gear, 12WBOY reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. The clinic will be open every Friday in the fall from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the United Orthopedic and Spine Center in Bridgeport, next to the hospital.

2. Onsite orthopedic specialists at the clinic can see athletes immediately after an injury occurs and develop a plan for return to play.

3. The clinic is separate from the emergency room.

4. Orthopedic surgeon Chris Courtney, DO, said the clinic offers comprehensive physical therapy, orthopedic and spine services.

"It is different in a sense that it's our orthopedic clinic, so if you are coming to see us for an initial evaluation, we have our X-ray and imagery right there in the office," Dr. Courtney said.
