Connecticut hospital to build $3M neurosciences center: 3 takeaways

Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital is constructing a new neurosciences center, according to LMT online.

Here are three takeaways:

1. The $3 million center is excepted to be complete in 2019. The hospital recently surpassed the halfway point of its fundraising goal.

2. The hospital received donations to purchase equipment for medical imaging, neurovascular interventions and advanced thrombectomy procedures at the new center.

3. Greenwich Hospital recently hired a spine surgeon. The hospital employs four neurologists and has plans to hire a fifth.
