Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network opened AHN Neurosurgery at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa, YourErie.com reports.
Here are four things to know:
1. AHN neurosurgeon Derrick A. Dupré, MD, joins Saint Vincent neurosurgeon Daniel Muccio, MD, at the new practice.
2. Dr. Dupré performs complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, tumor ablation therapy and functional neurosurgical procedures.
3. After receiving his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Dr. Dupré underwent stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellowship training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
4. Dr. Dupré serves as the AHN Neuroscience Institute's northern regional director.
