Dr. James Harman joins West Virginia OrthoNeuro: 3 things to know

James Harman, DO, joined West Virginia OrthoNeuro as the state's only endovascular, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, according to WV News.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Harman:

1. Dr. Harman focuses on stroke, brain aneurysms and brain/spine arteriovenous malformations among others.

2. Dr. Harman completed his neurosurgery residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., and Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, N.J. His training also included an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at Oradell, N.J.-based North Jersey Brain and Spine Center as well as Hackensack University Medical Center.

3. He earned his doctor of osteopathy from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va.
