Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Indiana added Munster (Ind.) Specialty Surgery Center to its preferred list of providers for its Anthem MediBlue Plus and Anthem MediBlue Dual Advantage plans.
Here are four things to know:
1. Effective now, Munster Specialty Surgery Center's providers are in-network for these two health plans, reducing out-of-pocket costs for patients.
2. The center has 14 physician owners.
3. Munster Specialty Surgery Center offers pain management; podiatry; ear, nose, throat; joint replacement; and complex spine.
4. Additionally, some people are eligible to enroll in a Medicare plan immediately.
