1. Indiana: $334,000

2. Oklahoma: $330,000

3. Connecticut: $329,000

4. Wisconsin: $327,000

5. Nevada: $323,000

6. Arkansas: $318,000

7. Louisiana: $314,000

8. Alabama: $313,000

9. Kentucky: $312,000

10. Florida: $310,000

Here are the bottom six states for overall annual physician compensation.

1. Michigan: $277,000

2. Massachusetts: $275,000

3. Hawaii: $268,000

4. New Mexico: $261,000

5. Maryland: $256,000

6. Washington D.C.: $229,000
