Grand Junction, Colo.-based Community Hospital is welcoming two surgeons to open a new orthopedic spine surgery program, according to The Business Times.
Here are five highlights.
1. Kirk Clifford, MD, and James Gebhard, MD, are joining the hospital to jumpstart an orthopedic spine surgery service line.
2. The two spine surgeons will unveil the new program, Western Colorado Spine, in May.
3. Dr. Clifford has 17-plus years of orthopedic spine surgery experience, earning his medical degree from New Haven, Conn.-based Yale University School of Medicine.
4. Dr. Gebhard has been in practice since 1993 and received his medical degree from University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine.
5. Community Hospital has been eager to introduce orthopedic spine surgery to its service lines.
