San Francisco No. 1 healthiest U.S. city — Which is the unhealthiest?

WalletHub analysts analyzed more than 170 of the most populated U.S. cities to determine the healthiest and unhealthiest places.

The report compared the cities via four measurements: healthcare, food, fitness and green space.


Here are the five healthiest cities:


1. San Francisco


2. Seattle


3. Portland, Ore.


4. San Diego


5. Washington, D.C.



The following rank as the unhealthiest cities:


1. Brownsville, Texas


2. Laredo, Texas


3. August, Ga.


4. Shreveport, La.


5. Gulfport, Miss.
