Here are 12 orthopedic surgeons who recently joined new practices or took on new positions in January.

Cetas Healthcare, a global company that focuses on consumer insights and strategy for the medical devices industry, appointed Jacques-Paul

Saltre, MD, PhD, to its newly formed board of experts.

 

Chicago-based Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, the largest independent physician-owned orthopedic practice in the U.S., appointed William Robb III,

MD, orthopedic director and chief medical officer.

 

Elaine Mau, MD, joined Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System Orthopedic Group.

 

Jonathan Lechner, MD, joined Bradford (Pa.) Regional Medical Center.

 

Board certified orthopedic surgeon Harold Weems Jr., MD, joined the recently established Christus Trinity Clinic in Texarkana, Texas.

 

Orthopedic surgeons Frank Hermantin, MD, and Randolph Sealey, MD, are now seeing patients at OrthoConnecticut's New Milford and Sharon

offices.

 

Pine Bluff-based Jefferson Regional Medical Center’s South Arkansas Orthopedic Center welcomed Gordon Birk, MD.

 

Orthopedic surgeon Robert Elvington, MD, joined Varnville, S.C.-based Hampton Regional Medical Center.

 

Dallas-based Medical City Children's Hospital named Shyam Kishan, MD, medical director of pediatric orthopedics and pediatric orthopedic trauma.

 

Kevin Marberry, MD, returned to Kirksville, Miss.-based Northeast Regional Orthopedics & Sports Medicine after two years at a multispecialty

orthopedic group in Wichita, Kan.

 

Steven Haas, MD, chief of knee services at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, joined OrthAlign’s executive surgeon council advisory

board.
