Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute and the Spine Institute at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, both located in Hartford, joined the National Orthopaedic and Spine Alliance, according to hartfordbusiness.com.

2. The organizations wanted to establish a new care model for orthopedic and spine care with NOSA. The group offers predictable outcomes and costs via care protocols and performance measurements.

 

3. NOSA members collaborate with employers to provide bundled payments for orthopedic services.

 

4. Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute and the Spine Institute at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center are the first in the state to join NOSA.

 

5. NOSA now encompasses members in 12 U.S. markets.
