Here are nine orthopedic surgeons making headlines.

San Francisco-based California Pacific Orthopaedics welcomed Lindsey Valone, MD.

 

Children's Hospital of Orange County in California named Lucy Morizio, MD, director of CHOC Children's Orthopaedic Institute, effective Oct. 22, 2017.

 

Wayne Colizza, MD, Stephen Hunt, MD, and Paul Lombardi, MD, of Tri-County Orthopedics in Cedar Knolls, N.J., were named 2017 Top Doctors by New Jersey Monthly.

 

Matthew Lovell, MD, Darryl Tannenbaum, MD, and Sylvester Youlo, MD, of Columbus-based Southern Indiana Orthopedics, are offering patients anterior hip replacements.

 

Dan Kendall, DO, of Washington, D.C.-based National Spine & Pain Centers, became the first in the Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia area to use Stryker's AVAflex Balloon System.
