1. Be Well, OrthoCarolina's wellness program, is designed as a comprehensive approach to total body wellness for employees. In addition to receiving data analytics and predictive modeling, employees benefit from health coaching, disease management and blood drives.
2. Jason Bourdie, director of wellness at OrthoCarolina, manages and helped implement Be Well.
3. OrthoCarolina also opened a Sports and Wellness Center in 2017, offering group training and fitness, nutrition counseling and physical therapy.
4. The Healthiest 100 tracks and measures corporate health across the country and selects the top 100 organizations that have comprehensively incorporated the best corporate wellness practices and programs.
5. When selecting the healthiest workplaces, companies must submit a wellness assessment and then, if selected, participate in an online instrument that further measures a worksite's wellness program.
