Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center opens neck, back center: 5 takeaways

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge launched the Sentara Back and Neck Center, according to Prince William Living.

Here are five takeaways:

 

1. At the Sentara Back and Neck Center, patients receive care from board certified and fellowship training spine surgeons who offer various treatments, such as minimally invasive surgeries and artificial disc replacements.

 

2. In addition, the center hosts pain management specialists and physical therapists trained to create rehabilitation plans.

 

3. The center plans to take a team approach to treating patients with different surgeons and specialists providing various treatment options.

 

4. The back and neck center is a specialized and expanded orthopedic program, part of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center's commitment to offer patients a wider range of services.

 

5. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183-bed nonprofit hospital.
